My publisher, The Great Lakes Horror Company, has released a new version of Theatre Macabre with my award nomination and my award win on the cover!
It’s available now on Amazon!
In other news, I received my Views from the Overlook rejection today. I’m not surprised, as competition was fierce, I’m sure, but I’d be lying if I didn’t say I’m hugely disappointed. I don’t think I’ve ever been so sad about a rejection, to be honest. I think it’s because The Shining was my gateway book to becoming a horror writer, as I’ve often said over the years. Oh, well. I wasn’t good enough, and that’s that. And no doubt, there are hundreds of other authors who are also very sad as well. At least us regular folk were given a small chance to submit, so I’m grateful for that, to not be totally shut out of the opportunity.
I hope they tell us how many submissions they received for that one coveted spot!
And I still want to read the anthology and see what the best of the best pre-selected authors came up with, of course!
In the meantime, I’ve been working hard on the new platform to create a new Creative Writing program for writers of all levels and genres. The launch is at the end of April.
And I’m working on my new novel, which is related to my magicians stories, if you’ve read them.
Three of the stories (out of four) are in Dearly Departed, actually, if you want to check them out.
